India legend Sunil Gavaskar is powerfully inspired with the way Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant have come in and awed so from the get-go in global cricket.
Conversing with India Today after India’s 10-wicket prevail upon West Indies, Gavaskar stated, “Taking a gander at the manner in which Rishabh Pant has settled in the group, I wouldn’t bother the mix by any stretch of the imagination. He can be somebody like Adam Gilchrist or Quinton de Kock to descend the request and if four wickets have fallen right on time, to remove the diversion from the restriction.
On Pant, he included, “His wicket-keeping is enhancing each day, the more he keeps wickets to Ashwin and Jadeja the better. He hasn’t kept wickets to them previously. He will show signs of improvement with time and the more he keeps wickets to them, he will become acclimated to their turn, assortments and he’ll be that vastly improved with each diversion he keeps to them,” he added to India Today.
Shaw was the man-of-the-arrangement for 234 runs while Pant scored 184 runs, and was great behind the stumps.
