Team news:

Bangladesh: The hosts are without Tamim Iqbal, who is currently on leave, and therefore will look to identify a solid opening combination that will serve them well in the future. They have named the squad only for the first two games, leaving out Mehidy Hasan while opting for a couple of inexperienced names like Mahedi Hasan and Yeasin Arafat.

Zimbabwe: The African side is without Sikandar Raza who has been excluded for disciplinary reasons. While his absence is likely to be felt in the middle order, Zimbabwe does have plenty of experienced players like Brendan Taylor, Craig Ervine, Sean Williams and Christopher Mpofu in the squad which coach Lalchand Rajput said is “a good mix of youth and experience”.
